Going to the peace embassy in Bukarest

I wrote in one of my earlier articels, that Thomas and me got to know some people in Bukarest who are members of the UPF- Universal Peace Federation. They have created a place called the peace embassy, where young people live together, going out to the street and organizing workshops for children and other young people who are in troubles, supporting them to find a place in life, learn about their possibilities and getting encouraged. This place impressed me much and especially the energetic and enthusiastic people living there. So tomorrow I will go back to Bukarest to stay for one week in the peace embassy, to learn about the work they do their, about the UPF and another active way of working for peace. I am very curious and looking forward to some good inspirations.

Monica, the woman I met in the train to the mountains said „I think there is nobody who doesn’t want peace, nobody who would say, Oh no I do not want peace. “  I think so too, it is just up to us what we are doing for it.

And one saying that follows me already the last weeks for ending for today:

„When one person is dreaming alone it is a dream. When a lot of people dreaming together it is the beginning of a new reality.“
