Peacework on different levels in progress

Dear readers, steppps-friends, peaceworkers

As the topic is really important for me I write the same this time in German and English. Voila the English-version. Till now some time passed since I left Thomas and the pilgrimage. But as I wrote before, that doesn`t mean that my mind and heart are not with steppps anymore, the contrary. What is especially in my mind about the peacework of steppps is the topic of “steppps helps”.  During my time with Paulin in France we worked a lot, with Annelie too, on the idea to built an organization that takes this idea of steppps and develop it to built an interhelp-network. There was a lot to think about, to write on a philosophy, clear the basics for the work and see how to realize the practical ideas. This work is not finished yet, but it is very important to do something practical while all this theoretical work. So I got into more intense contact to the people who are already in “steppps helps.”

Mostly I worked with Maria Posa and her grandchildren and Josefine the German “contactwoman”. As Josefine is in Germany in the moment I called her to hear more about the situation of Maria and the most urgent needs, besides money. So Josefine told me that especially the children are in need of clothes and school materials and they would need some things for the kitchen. I activated some friends and my family and after just two weeks we got two big suitcases that will go to Romania with Josefine in February. It was amazing to see how at once, the people I asked for help, got in contact to other friends  and so the news spread. After some calls, E-mails and meetings (by now there were about 20 people involved) something had developed. Soon my mother will bring all to Josefine and than one step is doneJ This experience was very joyful and a good teaching in the same.

But still Maria and the children are in need of regular support by sponsors!

For example, for putting a waterpipe into the house there are already collected 150 Euros, with 100 Euros more Josefine could manage something together with Maria. So I want to ask YOU dear readers, to look into yourself if you would like or could do a small or even a big donation to make the life of three people a bit more easy and with less worries. Feel what you can give yourself or if you even could do a little collection within your friends or familycircle.

For me it is very important too, not just to give the money, but to be in a kind of connection to the people we are supporting and learn a bit more about their country. If you feel, you could read the articles about Maria again, call Josefine if you have questions, read a bit more about Romania, write a letter to Maria and the children (Josefine can translate), pray or meditate for the family and the other people who we want to support, tell others about or whatever else comes into your mind – so many possibilities to do something:).

With Emilia the woman in Sofia I had contact too, so there is all help needed too! And when you would like to support Lucian, I can give you too the number of the woman who is sponsoring him already.

Let`s open our hearts and eyes  and look over borders towards the world and be conscious that we are all connected on this planet and depended and in need of each other.  Let`s see people there, where we, so often just hear political or economical news.

My most important insight while this organization work was: to stay in inner peace. When I want to do something for peace I need to be in peace within myself and do the work in connection to this. Sometimes I lost this a bit, came into too much thinking and in stress. But we have to take care of ourselves and stop from time to time to see in what state of mind we are doing what we are doing.

So in this sense, take care of yourselves, be good to you!
