Olcay from Sivas – makes youth exchange happen

Olcay is my very friendly host here in Sivas. I life now already nearly a week in the accociation office for european youth exchange, I have here a bed in one of the rooms and he is sopporting me with food, I can use his computer and cure my stomach flu….

He is a restless organiser for youth exchance between EU and Turkey. In the moment there are 36 young people from 6 different countries gathering together for the topic of ‚climate change‘ on the campus area. Intercultural exchange is a very important part of getting to know each other, our kultures, religions, thinking….. and to understand each other. It is a very basic work also for peace in the world.
As I unterstand Olcay, english teacher at the best school in the district, it is his 15th project with the EU.

If you are interested in a youth exchance from your country, city with Sivas in Tuerkey, please contact him. He worked with lots of people in different countries, but with Germany it didn’t work until yet.
